20th August 2017
On the 24th August, 7pm, the Queen Street Tap (formerly the Hole In the Roof) will open on Queen Street, Deal.

They will have 4 casks on at all times with the main focus being on local breweries, such as Ramsgate, Kent, Wantsum, Whistable and Tonbridge. There will also be some ales from national breweries including Sharp's and Adnams. They will also have their own ale: a 3.8% golden IPA made with pale and crystal malts.

The Hare and Hounds in Northbourne is undergoing refurbishment and will be closed for the next week or so.

It's expected to reopen at the beginning of September under new management: Danny Philpott and Jade Butler from the Crown Inn, Eythorne.

We are proud to announce the launch of the Branch Pub of the Season Competition - Summer 2017, and we welcome all nominations.

If you feel that your local (or for that matter any other pub in our Branch area) is a good pub for summer, if it has an attractive garden, or offers fine views on a summer's evening over the countryside or across the sea, or is simply a pleasant place to spend a relaxing few hours on a warm afternoon then let us know.

To nominate a pub for this competition just complete the nomination form.

The deadline for nominations is our Branch AGM on Monday, 19th June 2017. Please note that you can only nominate one pub.
