images/boots_thumb.jpg Thirst Thursday GBG Trail
18th March 2018

This year the GBG Trail continues - under the guise of 'Thirst Thursday' So if you are free on the first Thursday for the next few months join us as we once again wend our way round every GBG-listed pub in our branch.

There will be five sessions in all - four of them visiting three pubs, and one visiting four.

There are two rural pubs which will involve a good walk of about seven miles but there will be advance warning of this. Otherwise the remaining pubs are in urban areas where the maximum walk will be about half a mile to access pubs from bus stops or railway stations.

It won't be a race. Most of us aren't students any more so no prizes for guzzling the most pints in half an hour. All the pubs have been selected for their beer quality and should be ideal places to while away the time and soak up the ambiance. So come along and support your local pubs and let's hope for a good turnout. And any hardy soul visiting all 16 pubs will receive due recognition on completion of course.

Dates are:
