CAMRA's Pulling Together Campaign
29th March 2020
The Coronavirus is presenting unprecedented challenges for our pubs, breweries and cider/perry producers. Many are finding different and innovative ways to help their business weather the crisis as well as supporting their local community. This could be by launching food and drink deliveries, encouraging locals to buy 'gift cards' for the summer or using crowdfunding to help their business.
Last week CAMRA, in partnership with SIBA and Crowdfunder, launched the Pulling Together Campaign which is providing information and resources that:
- Support pubs, breweries and cider/perry producers.
- Encourage beer, cider and pub lovers to support local businesses.
- Help us all stay connected.
Locally we're getting involved in the campaign:
- On our FaceBook page we'll provide the latest news and updates with a bit of humour thrown in.
- This website will be focused on providing the latest information about pub, breweries, cider producers and other businesses that are providing additional services to the local community.
- Were keeping CAMRA's WhatPub website up-to-date. This has been updated to publicise pubs, and clubs that are providing additional services.
- We've provide a set of comprehensive notes about the campaign and how pubs, clubs, taprooms, breweries, cider/perry producers and all pub goers, not just CAMRA members, can get involved.
So, keep check our FaceBook page and website to keep in touch as the situation is continually changing and progressing.
Take Care & Stay Safe
